Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service Policy!
Please READ and UNDERSTAND all policies set forth below
The client hereto agrees as follows:
1. All clients are required to make payment in full before services begin. Payment in full guarantees your reservation dates. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service accepts cash, or money orders. Payments not paid as agreed upon and paid in full within 30 days will be charged an interest rate of 2% per month.
2. Generally, business hours are from 4:15 am to 9:00pm, Monday to Friday. 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
3. For the safety of all involved, your pet must be muzzle if prone to biting at your expense.
4. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service requires a 24 hour notice for cancellation of any scheduled visit. Cancellation of daily dog walks must be made by 4:15 pm the day before.
5. Rates are reviewed once a year and any increase or decrease will take effect on the first day of your anniversary date your service started.
6. Due to liability reasons, Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service cannot share pet walking/sitting responsibilities with anyone, unless a waiver of liability is signed.
7. Please inform Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service if any person(s) have access to your home while you are away, including any maid service, contractors, etc. For my safety and the safety of your home, the
authorities will be notified upon finding anyone in your home, unless otherwise specified by you.
8. It is your responsibility to “pet-proof” all areas of your home where your pet has access. This would include investigating fences, gates, latches, bedroom doors, etc. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service will not be held liable for any injuries that your pet suffers due to unsafe conditions in your home or on your property.
9. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service will not be held liable for any free-roaming dogs in the event of illness, injury, loss or death.
10. In case of extreme weather conditions I will get to your pet as soon as it is safely possible. If I cannot get to your pet you will be notified rescheduled for another walk.
11. In the event of a personal situation, illness or injury to me I will arrange to have to reschedule the walking for another day or you may make your own arrangements for the care of your pet in my absence.
12. Any information you provide to Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service is considered private and confidential and will never be shared with anyone without your permission.
13. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service reserves the right to refuse service and to discontinue service at any time.
14. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Service reserves the right to make changes to these policies at any time.
15. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services and its employees agree to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services or its employees, unless arising from negligence on the part of Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services.
16. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services or its employees shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death or actions of any pet that the client has let outside or has instructed the walker to allow outside while walker is not there. This includes pets with doggy doors and outdoor pets.
17. The client understands that all pets (where appropriate) must have a veterinarian and must be up to date on required vaccination.
18. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services does not diagnose, prognosis, or make therapy decisions, nor does it offer veterinary services. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian.
19. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services do not accept aggressive pets. Pet is cared for based on client’s representation. Client will be responsible for all damage/injury caused by aggressive pets.
20. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services will not walk unruly or untrained dogs or dogs that choke themselves on their leash.
21. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services will not accept time specific calls as we cannot guarantee specific times accurately. A three hour window is acceptable.
22. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services will not be responsible for any keys the client has asked to be mailed. If entry to home cannot be made because of faulty keys, client authorizes the use of a locksmith and will be responsible for all charges.
23. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.
24. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services reserves the right to take pet(s) to vet if necessary. Client is responsible for all applicable charges.
25. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services requires you to have a responsible party to take care of your pet(s) in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness or death to either dog walker or self and in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster. It is best your emergency contact is a neighbor so they can reach your home. Barking Buddies Dog Walking Services is not responsible for pet(s) in these circumstances.
